Reading the site
You can read WPBV Radio without creating a reader account. The site does not offer public comments or a newsletter signup. You can send a private message through our Contact page.
The site measures visits with its own analytics and with Google Analytics, as described under Analytics below. Advertising trackers are not enabled. We do not use the site to build advertising profiles.
Information involved in a visit
Delivering a web page requires technical information such as an IP address, the requested address, request time and browser information. Hosting, content delivery and security services may process this information to deliver pages, protect the service and investigate errors.
The site may load font files or other delivery resources through service providers. Those requests carry the technical information needed to return the resource. Browser and network settings can affect which requests are made.
Analytics
The site counts page views, referring sources, internal searches, clicks on outbound links, form submissions and page-speed measurements with its own first-party analytics. This measurement sets no cookie.
Every public page also loads the Google tag for Google Analytics when the page is viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits, and Google receives technical request data from your browser, such as your IP address and the pages you view, under its own terms. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block Google Analytics with your browser’s content-blocking controls or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, message and any link you choose to include. We use these details to handle your inquiry and reply when needed. Sending a message does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Messages are stored in the publication’s contact inbox and are not published on the website. The service also records the submission time and technical request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to operate the form and help prevent abuse.
For a question about your contact details or a previous message, choose Privacy request on the Contact page and explain what you need.
Search and links
The site’s search uses the words you enter to find published content. Avoid entering private information into a search field.
Articles link to original sources and other websites. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. An external source’s data handling is separate from WPBV Radio’s publishing choices.
Changes to this page
If we introduce reader accounts, subscriptions or other changes to the analytics described above, this page will be updated to describe the actual feature and its data use.
