Form3 announced an AI-enabled payments initiative on September 23, starting with a Model Context Protocol adapter that gives authorized applications access to payment information.
The first phase is explicitly read-only. According to Form3’s announcement, agents will be able to retrieve and interpret data while remaining outside the payment flow, with no ability to initiate changes.
