Entire opened its Git forge to every developer on Monday, October 26, 2026, pitching it as a GitHub alternative built for teams whose code is mostly written by coding agents. The company’s launch announcement says the forge replaces the pull request with a review format it calls Trails.
What launched
Entire lists three building blocks:
- Trails. Instead of reviewing a diff, a developer sees a dashboard of evals that agents score on every push. The data is available on Entire’s website and through the open-source Entire CLI, so a coding agent can work through findings in a loop. When all evals pass, the announcement says, a developer can merge “without needing to look at the code itself.”
- Git hosting. Entire runs its own Git-compatible source control server. Developers can create, migrate and host private repositories in the US, the EU, India or Australia, with more regions planned.
- Continuous Memory. Agent sessions are synced into the repository so later agents can search them. It combines a codebase graph with what Entire calls an agentic brain, a store of memories built from earlier sessions and prompts.
CEO Thomas Dohmke framed Trails as a response to volume: “agents now write almost all of it,” he said in the announcement, and Trails treat “the idea, the agent trace, and the outcome” of a session as artifacts to review alongside the code.
The speed and token claims are Entire’s own
Entire says pushes are up to 89 times faster than on GitHub and six times faster than on Cursor Origin, and that the codebase graph saves up to 71% on tokens. The announcement gives no test method, repository sizes or independent measurement for either figure. Treat them as vendor claims until outside benchmarks appear.
CI comes through partners
For builds and tests, Entire is working with Buildkite and Depot. Teams moving off GitHub Actions can convert existing workflows with Buildkite’s bk pipeline convert command or with Depot CI, then subscribe the repository in Entire; builds then start on every push and report results inside Trails. Depot’s co-founder and chief executive, Kyle Galbraith, said in the announcement that Depot CI runs “the GitHub Actions workflows they already have.”
What is not there yet
The announcement describes the launch as aimed first at AI-native teams. Self-hosted Git nodes, public repositories and live-streamed sessions are listed as upcoming, so open-source projects that need public hosting cannot move yet. The announcement does not give prices.
The forge follows two earlier releases, repository mirroring and the Entire CLI for tracking agent sessions. Entire says it has a team of about 50 people and raised a seed round in February.
